Rock duo Stepfather, featuring brothers Jordon and Joel Winheim, formerly of St. Louis, recently debuted their new single “Congratulations” -- an anthem for everyday struggles -- from their upcoming 5-Song EP Rollercade Blues releasing October 22. Inspired by their grandfather, a professional musician and drummer for Ike and Tina Turner, the brothers have been influenced by a variety of classic artists including Chuck Berry who was a fixture in the St. Louis community, especially in Oakville, a small suburb where Jordon and Joel grew up. The EP offers a glimpse into all these influences and touches on various topics including overcoming feelings of depression which is reflected in the new single “Congratulations.” For fans of The Wrecks, Fidlar, SWMRS, White Reaper, Waters, Grouplove, join the band in celebration of their EP release at The Virgil on Wednesday, October 23rd with special guests The Campbells and Lou Roy.
